HughesNet is a satellite internet service provided by Hughes Network Systems, a subsidiary of EchoStar, offering broadband connectivity across the United States and Latin America. It is one of the largest satellite internet providers in the world, serving over one million subscribers. The service uses geostationary satellites, which orbit about 35,786 kilometers above the equator, to deliver internet access to areas where terrestrial broadband is unavailable or unreliable.
