Pixie Lott (born Victoria Louise Lott, 12 January 1991) is an English singer, songwriter, and actress. She rose to fame in 2009 with her debut single "Mama Do (Uh Oh, Uh Oh)", which topped the UK Singles Chart, followed by the number-one hit "Boys and Girls". Her debut album, Turn It Up (2009), reached number six on the UK Albums Chart and was certified double platinum. Lott has since released four studio albums, ventured into acting and musical theatre, and served as a coach on The Voice Kids UK.
Victoria Louise Lott was born in Bromley, London, and grew up in Brentwood, Essex. She began performing at age five, joining the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts at age eleven, where she studied acting, singing, and dance. At fifteen, she was signed to L.A. Reid's label, Island Def Jam, after a showcase in New York, but later signed with Mercury Records in the UK. Her stage name "Pixie" came from a childhood nickname given by her mother, who thought she looked like a pixie.
Lott's debut single "Mama Do (Uh Oh, Uh Oh)" (2009) entered the UK Singles Chart at number one, making her the youngest female solo artist to top the chart with a debut single that year. Her follow-up "Boys and Girls" also reached number one, and her debut album Turn It Up was released in September 2009, peaking at number six and earning double platinum status. The album spawned further hits including "Cry Me Out" and "Gravity". In 2010, she received a Brit Award nomination for Best British Female Solo Artist and won the Glamour Award for Newcomer.

Lott has also been a coach on The Voice Kids UK since 2017, mentoring young singers. She is a trained dancer and has cited influences ranging from Stevie Wonder to Ella Fitzgerald. In 2020, she released a Christmas EP, Somebody's Christmas, and has performed at the Royal Variety Show twice.
