Pauline McLynn (born 1962) is an Irish actress, writer, and broadcaster, best known for her portrayal of the perpetually tea-making housekeeper Mrs. Doyle in the Channel 4 sitcom Father Ted. Pauline McLynn was born in 1962 in County Galway, Ireland, and grew up in a family with a strong interest in the arts.
