Disney Channel (South Korea) was a South Korean pay television channel operated by The Walt Disney Company Korea, offering a mix of animated series, live-action shows, and locally produced content. The channel began as a localized version of Disney Channel Asia, which had been available in South Korea since the early 2000s. In 2011, The Walt Disney Company Korea launched a dedicated Korean-language feed, replacing the Asian feed on local cable and IPTV platforms. The launch was part of Disney's strategy to strengthen its brand presence in the Korean market, which already had a strong appetite for animation and family entertainment.
